The pizza from Jakes was very good! We had a thin crust mushroom and a thin crust sausage. The pizza was very tasty and had a good amount of cheese on it. The sausage was a bit spicy but still good. We picked up our order and it was ready when we arrived. We will be back!

I don't understand how this place has so many great reviews. I'll start with pricing. Pricing online is not correct. I brought this to their attention when checking out and they simply said, oh yeah, let me grab you a pamphlet which by the way isn't right either because we're making changes. Second, their pizza has no flavor. Yes it's thin crust but that's it. You're bitting into thin flour. The only good thing about this place is the service. Other than that don't waste your time. The place down the street is wayyyy better for a reason.

Love me some Jake's pizza. It's been too long! I need to go back. I just stumbled upon the reviews while looking for something else on Yelp. Their pizza is amazing. The crust rocks. It's by far my favorite thin crust pizza in Chicagoland, possibly even in Chicago. Can't wait to get back there now!! :-) Order for delivery or go pick-up. It's a no frills, PIZZA STAND. If pizza is what you want, pizza is what you'll get; nothing more, nothing less. (They *might* have a couple different sandwiches and salad, but I don't remember!) I will update when I get back over there!

I usually like this place but I ordered a couple of days ago and the sauce had NO flavor. Really disappointed in that because everything else was just like I remembered except the new faces. Wondering if they have new owners. Fix the sauce and I'll be back for sure!

I ordered pizza for our lodge and picked it up. Friendly enough staff, small hole in the wall lcation smelled amazing but there was just something bland about their sauce. Wasn't terrible but I was expecting much more from such a long standing pizza place.

Best Pizza I've had. Thin crust was awesome, perfect cracker crust. Deep pan is phenomenal too. WAY better than that crap uno downtown. I watched these guys on a busy Saturday make my pizza from scratch, happy to wait for quality. If Im in Chicago again ill be back.

Jake's has been in business for 45 years. That means when they opened...Super Bowl II. That means the Vietnam War was still ongoing. That means the Beatles were winning awards for Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. I always say: if you're in business that long, you're doing something right. The surprising thing about Jake's being open this long is they're always overlooked. Even by myself. I ate pizza from here recently for the first time in 20 years. No joke. That means the last time I ate pizza from Jake's before my last visit, Bill Clinton was inaugurated as president. That means Jurassic Park just opened in theaters. That means every male would now grimace when hearing the name "Lorena Bobbitt". They might be looked over because they're strictly carry-out/delivery. Their place of business is literally a kitchen and a small front room for taking orders and order pickups. It could also because they scarcely, if at all, advertise. Clearly, they don't need dine service or fancy fliers, because their pizza is that good. Their thin crust is real THIN. Just how I like it. The ingredients are always fresh tasting. The service is also top notch. One thing I remember about this place since childhood is the employees being extremely nice, and that hasn't changed. They're the type to always come from behind the counter to hold the door open for you when making your way out with your food. I plan to order from Jake's again soon, because it's been about a month. That means when I last ate here, some crappy band named Fun. won a Grammy.

Seems like they need a complete renovation to keep up with the times but as far as the thin crust pizza and service goes, it is excellent. I'll echo another Yelper and warn you not to try the deep dish. I was lucky enough to have a party of (hungry) people who actually liked this terribly crafted and tasting "deep dish" pizza. This needs to be erased from the menu..luckily they make thin too. Which earns every star in this review. Long story short, the thin crust is the best you'll ever have. The Wisconsin cheese they use complements the thin and crispy crust perfectly. The free soda with every pizza is nice too. Along with the free pizza after you order 25 of them..I'm a huge fan yet I am only at 14. Need to step my game up.

Wow! Pizza here is really great! The owner is a nice friendly chap and they know how to make pizza... I'd come back for sure next time I'm in town! Price is very good. Ordered a thin crust with sausage, mushroom, cheese, onion and tomatoes... Really delicious! They also give you a free bottle of soda. Nice surprise...

Decent ingredients...awful deep dish. I ordered from here based on the reviews of their thin crust...mistake. This was a loaf of bread with a layer of cheese and a brushing of sauce, not what you would expect from a pizza place in Chicago selling deep dish style pizza! Delivery took 1:30 hours for 2 pizzas...the place is less than 2 miles from where I was.

Nice sauce! No nonsense cash only place. Toppings are fresh and tasty.

I was brought one of their pizzas because I'm a big fan of thin, thin, thin crust. Wow! What a fantastic crust and a sauce with a nice spice to it. This is one really delicious pizza!

The ingredients were ample and pretty good, but the sauce was bland, bland, and more bland. Do something with the crappy sauce Jake and you might have a decent pizza. Also, the crust was just decent.

Quite simply, this IS the best thin crust pizza in Franklin Park, if not Chicago. I know that may seem like a leap, but really, someone has got to have the best. What not this little unassuming pizza place? Always delivered HOT, quick and with a smile. And for the quality of pizza you get, you do not pay an arm and a leg for it. Just enough crust, cheese and any other topping you'd want. Simple and not trying too hard. Sure, there are a zillion other pizza joints in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs, but this is the David of Chicago's Goliaths. Try it out. NOW!

Have not had Jakes in a loonngg tine. But wanting something different from a pizza place decided to call Jakes for a quick pizza night dinner. It was really good. We ordered a large thin crust with mushroom, onion and sausage. I have had a lot of different local pizza places, but Jakes is darn good. First the crust was thin very thin, but that's ok because it was nice and crispy not soggy. The mushrooms and onions were fresh and even the sausge was a good quality Italian sausage. It was not salty I was not grabbing for gallons of water an hour after we ate. It was just an all around good pizza. They even threw in a free liter of soda with our order!! Plus in my book. Would have been a great left over pizza for breakfast, had there been any left over!!! Great pizza!

Best thin-crust pizza in the suburbs! Fox news obviously went a little far on grand and missed this place while looking for the best pizza.

Its easy to forget about a little place like this. Not because they are bad but because they are little. The pizza place itself is small and from time to time I find menu's outside for them. With all the other places to get pizza around here I think Jake's gets overlooked. Shame really because honestly they have some of the best pizza I've ever had. The prices are incredible and the quality of the pizza is wonderful. I'm actually quite picky about the sausage on my pizza sbut I love the sausage from Jake's. The only drawback is the hours of operation. Jake's dose not open until 4ish, but clearly it isn't too much of a problem seeing as they have been in business for a while.

The best thin crust pizza in Franklin Park. Crispy thin with great sweet sauce. They don't open until 4 though
